Tuesday News!

This morning most of the team went to the church site to continue work. Some of us went to the school to take photos of the students for sponsorship.
It has been a very efficient week, filled with lots of side-splitting laughs and GOOD tears! This team is well bonded. Photos to come later!

Monday Pictures!

Today was a good day! The weather was nice and cool here today, making things very bearable. This morning, we had a team paint the gymnasiums at the school and another team continue work on the Open Walls Church.
This afternoon we had more painting, more church work, and another team have a VBS with the kids in the community (as today is a national holiday, so the kids that go to school were out.)

Sundays Morning - DR Version

This morning, we got up to a beautiful sunrise beyond the clouds and had a slow-paced morning. After eating some breakfast, we headed over to the Korean church (a church established by Korean missionaries) in the area, and enjoyed a powerful worship service.
Some will be taking a walk through the community this afternoon, so look out for some updates on that!

Safe and Sound!

Hello all,
We have arrived safe and sound to our destination here in Los Alcarrizos! Last night was a great time of team bonding and sleeping soundly after a LONG day of travel!
This morning, we enjoyed some personal reflection time and now are working at the church work site, and a few others had the opportunity to help teach in the English as a Second Language classes.
Everyone is doing well! Cloudy and periodic rain here, but it is needed! We'll keep you posted and thanks for your continued prayers!

 

January Take-Off!

The January Team is taking off soon! We'll be departing on the 22nd out of Grand Rapids, and returning on January 29th! Below is a majority of the team from Mason County Reformed Church going on the trip, minus 2. We also have more joining from Grand Rapids and Three Rivers, Michigan!

Be in prayer for health, safety, God's plan and whatever else is on your heart! We can't wait to share once we get back.
